The Giant's Causeway comprises of around 40,000 mostly hexagonal basalt columns that descend gently into the sea. Depending on who you believe, the stones were formed either by an underwater volcano or by a giant named Finn McCool, who lived and battled along the north Antrim Coast. Antrim is in Northern Ireland which is part of the UK. Have you been there? Is Giant's Causeway a human or physical feature? Find Mrs Cheater or tell your class Geog Blogger!
