We enjoyed a fun-packed International Day on Thursday! Staff were so impressed with the effort everybody made to come dressed in the colours of a flag from a country of their choice. Children enjoyed workshops across the school, including travelling to another classroom in the school, to learn about different countries representing six of the World’s continents including Kenya, Japan, France, Ecuador, Canada and Australia. We all came together as a whole school in a special assembly to celebrate the many countries children had chosen to represent and gave thanks for the diverse world we live in. Thank you to Mrs Cheater for organising the day to raise awareness of geography and locational knowledge and to all staff for preparing such a wonderful day. If your child has yet to complete their Seesaw Activity linked to International Day, there is still time! We are really enjoying sharing these in our classes.
