We are delighted to share the outcome of our recent Ofsted visit by one of His Majesty’s Inspectors (HMI).
Here are a few highlights:
- “Pupils flourish at the school. They build firm social and academic foundations which prepare them well for the future. Children in the early years get off to an impressively strong start. Pupils strive to meet the high aspirations the school has for them.”
- “The school enables pupils to ‘live life in all its fullness’, removing barriers which might prevent pupils from taking part. Consequently, every pupil benefits from a rich set of experiences during their time at the school.”
- “The curriculum is very ambitious, reflecting the high aspirations that the school has for all pupils. Pupils achieve highly.”
- “[Pupils] are highly motivated to learn as much as they can…”
- “Staff adapt the curriculum appropriately for pupils with SEND which means they achieve well.”
- “Pupils love attending this school.”
Whilst this was not a full graded inspection, the inspectors recognised the considerable progress our school has made and noted that the school’s work may have improved significantly across all areas since the previous inspection. As a result, they will return in due course to carry out a full graded inspection.
This is a very encouraging step forward and one that reflects the dedication, passion, and hard work of our entire school community. We are incredibly proud of our staff, whose commitment to our children’s learning, wellbeing, and development continues to shine through. We are equally proud of our pupils, who impressed the inspector with their attitude, behaviour and enthusiasm for learning.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you - our families - for your continued support. Your partnership with the school plays a crucial role in all that we achieve together.
We won’t rest on our laurels and will continue to journey forwards for the benefit of the children we serve. Please follow the link from our Chair of Governors and copy of our OFSTED inspection report.
