WHOLE School STEM Week

We have had such an amazing STEM Week this year! Well done to all the children who took part in the NW24 STEM Boat Challenge - it was fantastic to see the children working together on the theme of Change and Adapt. The children also took part in a whole school assembly and year group workshops run by As Creatives - using drama and science to learn about important scientists across the globe.  We were also very impressed with all of the entries from the Eggs-travaganza competition. There were some wonderfully creative entries!

Finally, we want to say a big thank you to all the parents and carers who work in STEM and took the time to create 'A Scientist Just Like Me' presentations and come in to our school to share what they do. The children loved hearing from the STEM professionals within our community and there has been a real buzz around the school as a result. Thanks again to everyone who  contributed to make this year so special.
