Sport Report

Congratulations to our fantastic Year 5/6 Cross Country Athletes.

Last week, our runners represented Bristol North at the Inter-Area Primary Cross-Country Challenge. This event involved Year 5 & 6 teams from Bristol, BANES, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire. Our Westbury-on Trym team scored superbly too.

We have been extremely busy this week with our sport! First of all, a huge congratulations to our Year 5/6 Dodgeball team who came second in the North Somerset County Dodgeball Competition in Weston-super-Mare.

We also took part in two Year 5/6 North Bristol Area League football matches where we lost to BGS 3-2 and then beat Henbury Court 7-0. The children were outstanding; representing the school and themselves proudly. And finally, our Year 5/6 'Participation' Dodgeball team played superbly at St Bede’s and they managed to win the competition. What a way to end 2022!

Our Year 5/6 North Bristol Area League team beat Stoke Bishop in a gripping game of football, 3-2. Well done to all of the children who took part and well done to Mr. Patterson for coping with the extremely cold weather. Well done to all of the children who represented the school so well. We are extremely proud of you!
