A Magical Day at Berkeley Castle!

Year 2 had an unforgettable adventure this week with a visit to the historic Berkeley Castle! From dragons and knights to Queens, Kings and even a surprise appearance by Princess Leia, the day was filled with imagination, excitement, and learning.

The trip brought to life everything the children have been exploring in their Term 1 topic on Castles. They discovered fascinating facts about medieval life, castle defences, and royal traditions—building on their classroom learning in the most memorable way.

The children were curious, engaged, and full of brilliant questions. It was a fantastic day out, and we’re so proud of how they represented the school. Well done, Year 2!
